Young Adult News
The
Young Adults
of Gloria Dei (and as Pastor Craig
always says, YOU define young!) regularly
gather for
many different forms of fun and fellowship. One
of the more popular activities has been the themed
dinner parties at the home of
Dennis Storch, hosted by Dennis, Jean Bardy, and Donna Perry.
If you go home hungry
it's your own fault! The group has also been known to
bowl a few frames
or catch the latest movie.
Next Young Adult Dinner
Join us for the next Young Adult dinner on Saturday,
April 19, 2008, from 6:30pm-? . We will be meeting at Dennis Storch's home,
405 Vale Ave (4th & Vale - just East of Slide next to the
bank). Please RSVP to Jean Bardy at 743-2959 or
jean.bardy@ttuhsc.edu
by April 15.
Christmas Party
The Young Adult Christmjas Party was loaded with food, fun,
and revelry - with a fun time of "re-gifting" to the reading
of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Koinonia Bible Study
Koinonia is the Bible study group for
Young Adults
at Gloria Dei. They meet on
Sunday evenings at 8:00 p.m.
at the church
for study and fellowship.
Currently they
are using "People of Purpose: 40 Life Lessons from
the New Testament" by Robert Driver-Bishop to direct our
studies. By the way, the word
koinonia is Greek and means "intimate spiritual
communion and participative sharing in a common religious
commitment and spiritual community" (Webster's Third New
International Dictionary).
