Going
Green for God
Workshop
Are you a good
steward of God’s Creation, but
would like to learn how to be a better one? Or are
you like many who want to be a good steward,
but don't know where to start? If you answered "Yes"
to either question, you won’t want to miss the
Going Green for
God
workshop being jointly
hosted by Agape Methodist and Gloria Dei Lutheran Churches
on July 11, 2009 from 9am to
12:30pm.
The workshop will be held at Gloria Dei
Lutheran, 1706 Slide
Rd, Lubbock. Retired Austin pastor and long-time
environmentalist, Merle Franke, will share the Biblical
foundation for being a good
steward of God's Creation. Then each attendee will
have the opportunity to learn practical tips to
conserve God’s valuable resources through conservation and
recycling. You might even learn how to conserve another
valuable resource, your money!
